The IITD-AIA Foundation for Smart Manufacturing (IAFSM) is a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation established through a strategic collaboration between the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) and the Automation Industry Association (AIA) in 2017. The Foundation was established with the objective of promoting the adoption of Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies and strengthening the technological capabilities and competitiveness of Indian manufacturing industries.
